Dementia Friendly Denbigh Midsummer ‘Forget me not’ Hunt (15 – 29 June 2024)

12 vintage objects together with a forget me not flower will be placed in 12 shops/businesses around Denbigh Town Centre for people to find and identify. The trail will be running for weeks and the winner will receive a £50 voucher from a local shop of their choice.

Guided Tour – Historic Denbigh (16 June 2024)

Guided tour around historic Denbigh, with one of the volunteer guides. Lasting around 1.5 hours. Please note - tour will include a few steep lanes and steps. 

Photomarathon (16 June 2024)

Free. No booking required.

It's a free fun event to explore the town on your own or with family and friends.

It’s open to anyone with a camera or smartphone and a great way of discovering interesting and unusual details in the town and buildings. 

Participants will be given 4 topics to photograph in the 4 hours, but you don’t have to spend 4 hours – if you’re finished sooner, that’s OK.  

Registration from 1pm at Denbigh Museum, Grove Road, Denbigh, LL16 3UU. Return to download photos by 4.00pm at the latest. For further details call 01745 730 111. 

Bring an empty memory card and at the end of the event, your photos will be downloaded from your memory card. 

Please bring an appropriate lead.

This is a FREE event for all the family. It's not a competition so just come along, have some fun and your photos will be uploaded to the Facebook page for all to see and enjoy.

StudioMADE: Landscape and Language (16 June 2024)

As part of Refugee week, please join us to explore landscape and language through a short stroll through town, art activities and cultural sharing at studioMADE, Denbigh.

The day will involve printmaking, photography as well as a cultural food sharing. This event is free, please bring a phone camera and a cultural dish of your choice to share if you can.

Gwaenynog Garden (16 June 2024)

2 acres inc the restored walled garden where Beatrix Potter wrote and illustrated the Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies. Also a small exhibition of some of her work. Long Herbaceous borders and island beds, some recently replanted, espalier fruit trees, rose pergola and vegetable area. C16 house (not open) visited by Dr Samuel Johnson during his Tour of Wales.  Home-made teas. Refreshments in aid of St James Church, Nantglyn.
