Stars from Rhyl Pavilion Panto - Sleeping Beauty. Star of the Show switching on the Denbigh Lights is our local Denbigh Actor - Sean Jones who is currently appearing in the West End production of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, with Miss Galaxy & The Denbigh Town Mayor. Plus the school winners of last years Christmas Lights Competition switching on their lights and the Denbigh Town Lights, they will also announce this years winners. 


Throughout the Day….from 9am
In the Denbigh Town Hall upstairs and the Market Hall a Festive Christmas Market . A festive selection of seasonal specialities, fomething to suit all tastes and all pockets. Local crafts from jewellery to handbags, local farmers market produce, Country Market, honey, ciders & beers, jams, cakes, chutneys, welsh meat, unusual gifts & much more.

We welcome stalls from Biebertal Germany with the Twinning Association.

Visit Father Christmas in his Grotto in first floor of the Town Hall - from 2pm, With Peppa Pig! £2 per child with a present from Father Christmas.

Fun Fair, Entertainment, Music, Face Painting, Festive Foods, Hot Soups, Hog Roast. Come along and make an unusual Christmas Present. Fun for All.
 LATE night shopping an invitation to savour a ‘Taste of Denbigh’ and shop for festive treats.

5.30 – Competition Winners Announced by the Denbigh Town Mayor Cllr Raymond Bartley – prizes galore

6.00 – Christmas Lights Switching on Ceremony
6.30 – Xmas Lights Live Music Night - Conservative Club

Students from Denbigh Community College are hosting the Xmas Lights Live Music Night. During and after the Denbigh Christmas lights switch on. Live bands acoustic plug and play and rock music. Come and join in the fun! Free entry, charitable donations gratefully received on behalf of the paediatrics department at Glan Clwyd Hospital. All welcome :) Bar open :) Featuring Hybrid Sky and more to be confirmed.

10.30am - Meet at the Glass Onion Cafe, then into the Counci lChambers for a Story and Singing Session with Peppa Pig

There will be the chance to get ‘hands on’ at jewellery making and basket weaving and perhaps make your own Christmas gifts as well as Christmas food tips at a cookery demonstration and plenty of tasty festive goodies on offer with a Taste of Denbigh in the town’s shops along with a fun fair and even free car parking all day.

“Wherever you go in the town there will be something happening – it’s going to be a really great experience.”
