HISTORY
The Denbigh Town Business Group was founded in 1995, taking over from the Chamber of Trade and the Denbigh Action Group.
The hard work soon started to pay off with significant success in:
- establishing a 'brand' (e.g. logo, postcards, leaflets)
- establishing the People's Market
- extending and publicising a strong portfolio of events
- developing the visitdenbigh.co.uk website.
- What's On Guide initially as a flyer and as part of website.
By working closely with both Town and County Councils, the group has contributed significantly to:
Denbigh Townscape Heritage Initiative – improving our local heritage sites.
Town Council on-going investment in Christmas lights
DAPPER (Denbigh and Prestatyn Project for Economic Regeneration)
Rurual Business Action (RBA) (formerly STVEI - Small Towns and Villages Enterprise Initiative).
